USA
United States is considered "the" country to study. Students can choose from a host of universities. The mode of application: Students can apply directly to the universities. The cost of education varies in different universities & colleges. On an average cost (tuition fees and living expenses could vary between $ 10,000 - 40,000 per annum. Financial aid is usually not available during the first years. However tuition scholarships, assistanceships, teaching, can be got. The cost of living depends on the city or town with average living cost around $ 20,000 per annum.
Eligibility Requirements: TOEFL scores necessary.
For undergraduate level studies, SAT I exams have to be cleared. Those
applying for accredited institutes then SAT II is recommended. For graduate
studies, GRE scores required while for business school programmes, GMAT.
On an average for any institute minimum score of 550 in TOEFL is required.
SAT around 1200. With a SAT score of around 1400 financial aid is easier.
In GRE minimu score 1800 for financial aid around 2100. GMAT minimum score
650. Duration of Study: A bachelor's degree is usually for 4 years, while
an associate degree 2 years. A Masters degree is flexible and requires
1 -2 years of course work.
